Music is a great stress reliever. The enthusiasm of many in blogworld caught up with me, and last night I downloaded all the songs of Jillunu Oru Kaadhal and updated my iPod. I wanted to go on a long drive with these songs playing, but my car kit is not with me. Music has a soothing effect on your nerves. I really enjoy it.
'New York Nagaram' is my favorite, as it is many others' favorite. Rahman sings this song awesomely well. I can almost imagine Surya singing this song in the lonely streets of NY. Surya is darn cute. Asin would have made a goor pair with him, but she refused the role I hear.
I was listening to the songs at work and working with utmost concentration when someone came by and knocked on my cube. I was totally thrown out of my skin. We spent the next few seconds just laughing at the way I got scared.
Sometimes I am scared of the amount of responsibility I have at work. I mean if I ignore something, or do not do a given task properly, the penalty might be great. The loss might be great. It scares me, like crazy.
I havent had proper sleep this whole week. Boy! Am I glad tomorrow is Friday. If I can manage to get through this meeting tomorrow, I can take a breather and relax.
I will get back to listening to JOK and work. |

Based on your reco, am listening to Jillunu Oru Kadhal (surprisingly, I did not even know abt this movie till a week ago) - I think the songs will grow on me. Will download them soon :-)!
And Ms. Modesty - of course you have friends - only thing is you give yourself a lot less credit than you should and hence fail to acknowledge their presence! So look around again and chin up :-)!
