1) truly a happy day. BSK went into her ballet class!!! May be a small step for other kids but a GIANT step for her given how shy she is and the amount of stranger anxiety she has. Even waved to us from inside the class. First class two weeks ago she didn't even get into the class. Parents were not allowed inside since it might distract them and kids had to walk in themselves. Didn't happen. She wanted to go but was scared that the teacher would talk to her! But today she went omg. We were two parents beaming with pride looking at sloppy steps and rather lost look at times compared to other kids. One big break and that is enough for today ;--) a bad quality picture from behind glass doors. Spot BSK :--)
2) we also visited a nearby gymnastics studio. Watching the lithe young kids tumble and twirl I wanted to join the class! Doing push ups and planks at sun a young age learning to nimble and flexible.
3) BSK had a good lunch ate by herself by hand. Rice and cabbage beans koottu. Quinoa with koottu and coriander thogayal never felt so amazing after a morning of running around with less sleeptime.
4) more appliance shopping! Gosh don't even want to get into the details of what we did buying canceling few ordering. Still undecided on induction cooktop. But existed nevertheless. Retail really is therapy!
5) BSK learnt to remove her Tshirt on her own and did it today with a huge grin on her face. |
