| That is what it is for JSK. The past week has been filled with so many endearing moments, there is no way they can be captured on cameras.
JSK's cousin is only 8months older than her, the way he shows his rough and love to her is heart warming. To watch them walk with their hands on each other's shoulders is cuteness overload. JSK is happy, she is not so shy anymore. Talks and interacts like she has been here all her life. So much better Tamil if that is possible. There is a 15 year old cousin visiting too, the two 4 year old give him a hard time. " C ya cut panni kozhambu vachu saaptudalam" I am glad JSK has left dolls and princesses. But now she is a cannibal, and always wanting to fight and hit, too much violence, thanks to her cousin. She is very much like DH in that respect I think, can mold herself to her circumstances. May be all kids are like that.
JSK is the last person to wake up in the house. She loves to sleep all wrapped up from head to toe in a soft blanket. More than 5 of us will be sitting on the bed trying to wake her up at 830am whe. She would still want to sleep.
Schedule is out the window. We eat watching Chota Bheem. We run around like crazy. Oh we have also found the funny bone! Is that a thing of the fearsome fours?! Nakkal and sarcastic remarks come off in abundance.
She was showered with golusu (anklets) and bangles and chain from her Athai. She loves all of them.
It is so nice to see her be so happy around relatives. We want to send her to India every summer. ;--p she is ready to go to school with her cousin. So torn her reactions would be. Already facing the tough choice of living with the people you love in your mother land and going back to another place half a world apart.
Not the best picture but I feel it captures the essence.
