| - flight was delayed but we still managed to arrive with only a 45minute delay.
- flight was very uncomfortable, Norwegian airlines. Didn't like it so much. Immigration took 2 hours! But the officer was from Chennai- what are the odds. She was very nice to dotter and told her to be as naughty as she wants because otherwise her parents will be bored. ;--)
- JSK really took the advise to heart and kept it very interesting until we reached out Airbnb place with 3 trains and a 5 mins walk with the luggage. Our host forgot to keep the keys where she said she would ;--( we waited for 30mins and decided to take the train to Kings Cross and find a hotel. She called 10mins after we left with the keys. Oh well. She reimbursed the payment which is a good thing.
- the room was tiny, we got some sleep, we were all super tired and sleepy. All of us were jetlag fed woke up in the middle of the night. Thanks to DH's office phone I have unlimited data! Thankful for that.
- thankful for the backpack which really makes carrying luggage and travelling very easy or rather easier than it should be. I made a small miscalculation in dates thus we ended up taking the train to Edinburgh the day after we landed in London. But that's fine! We have been to London before to do all the touristy stuff so this time I haven't planned for anything in London except Lords, and visiting friends may be which we will do at the last leg of our vacation.
