| Peeps - today was a productive day because I worked from home! With the commute time saved I managed to get some forms from the doctors, enroll dotter in the new school district, sign for our passports and attend all the meetings for the day
- exactly one week to go! And there is still much to be done before taking off. It is like everything culminating in a nice big crescendo.
- congrats dear MK on the new role ;--) so happy for you!
- nowadays reading before bed are a breeze. I read the first page and then somehow dotter ends up reading the rest of the book. We read a book on Peter Pan and I had a hard time explaining magic (dog snapping away shadows) and jealousy ( Tinker bell angry because Peter Pan is friends with Wendy!) and metaphors ( rooms for both in my pockets, pockets meaning heart) I am bad at this. Ugh.
- Hugh Grant - he made me happy today. So cute! Nothing Hill is my favorite and as I was looking for UK based movies to Erm prep for the trip, I loved watching it. Blimey and bullocks and oopsiedaisies, so utterly bitterly cute. In those days people waited days to find love communicate, and connect. The 90s, pre cell phone era. Hugh Grant's hair style a why don't actors have wavy long hair anymore ;--p and his blue eyes and crinkly wrinkly face. His mannerisms are charming, the way he slouches, wearing loose clothes and he can act, there are long shots of his face and he really acts with his eyes and all those facial expressions. I made the mistake of seeing how he looks now and totally regret it. Notting Hill Hugh Grant cuteness infinity. Do we have such guys anymore? I also noticed curly hair was quite accepted then, unlike now where every single person has stick straight hair.
