Its ironical that all our childhood is spent waiting to grow up and handle our own life, and when we do grow up and are given a shoulder load of responsibilites as adults we wish to go back to beings kids again. Thats what I feel like now.
Its not fun to have to count the calories in yummy chocolates and delicious icecreams and cakes everytime I so much as go near them. And its not fun that all those calories join their buddies in unwarranted places in the body. Its not fun to have cold war with friends, I prefer just talking it out, pulling some hair and then forgetting about it in the next half hour and be the best buddies ever. Its not fun to think a hundred times before wanting to buy something, leaving alone just buying something. Apart from that, planning for the future, paying bills, cleaning, cooking not to forget work and work related responsibilites, and social obligations.
The biggest boon and bane of adulthood - decision making. It is amazing how we as adults do so many things, just because we have to. Not because we like to, unlike kids.
I want to hide under the warm cocoon of Mom and Dad's wings. It hurts to know they are getting old and soon it will be time for some role reversal.
Its all downhill from here.
I read somewhere this, and totally agree with this.
"You should die first, get that out of the way, then live twenty years in an old age home. You get kicked out when you're too young, you get a gold watch, you go to work. You work forty years until you're young enough to enjoy your retirement. You go to college until you're ready for high school. You go to grade school, you become a little child, you play, you have no responsibilities, You become a little baby, you go back into the womb, you spend your last nine months floating, and you finish off as a gleam in your parents' eyes!"
I do think life is backwards. |

The straitjacket in me wants to say life wouldnt be meaningful if the last stage is inside a womb. But then again, if its an option, worth a try :).

:--) Life is all about fun right. And we always want to save the best for the last. Not the bad for the last. :--)) In this case we might just look forward to dying ;--)
