Strong
Tuesday, May 05, 2009
I have been MIA for a while now. I openned my blog and saw my previous post was almost a month ago! This has not happened in all my blogging years, so before 30 days are up, I want to drop a quick note. I dont want the few readers I have to forget me and abandon me.

I am alive and kicking, although a bit sick. I am not short of topics to write about, I am short on time. In fact I have soo much to write about, I hope I can get to it. Evenings are packed, weekends are packed and obviously week days are packed. On top of it, I think I am falling sick, thanks to DH, he passed on some bug to me, that he caught from rainy Seattle.

Anyhoo.
Topic on focus for the month is to be Strong. We were watching Grey's Anatomy, and Mer said something about how she had cried only thrice in her whole life, I was inspired,, yes, I get inspirations from the weirdest of places, I just have to be in the mood, I told DH, " I am going to be a strong person and never ever cry. Thats my goal for this month." Well, you should have seen DH's face before he doubled down laughing. Yes, in case you didnt already make out, I am the queen(princess :--P) of cry babies. I can cry at the drop of a hat. I can create instant tears, I just have to think of the poor old man, doing his own groceries, at the local store, I can bring those tears. So, its tough. But whats the point in doing things that come easy?

Lol, to achieve that, the first thing you need to do is stop watching greys anatomy :p

    SK,
Please cry as much as you want. Pathos at others (like old man in grocery store) and preventing from crying for that is fine.

But if you're sad about something in your life and you prevent yourself from showing it, it comes out as anger/irritability. Trust me on this one. Sometimes the saying Big Girls Don't Cry is such a hard thing to live upto.

The stress has to release itself, might as well it be in the form of tears if you have a supportive spouse.

    Priya.

Adi, Look who is talking :--P

    Priyamvada,
You are so right. Getting the sadness out of the system is sometimes essential. Thanks for your words.
