I started this Resolutions posts almost a year ago, I remember the day 3rd September when I decided to change. I have come a long way from then. I have grown a lot I think. With SMART goals, I was able to keep tab of how I was progressing. Lets say when things are normal I can handle the normal pressure and keep up with my resolutions. But now, things are different. As DH righly pointed out, the Storm has started at work and I am also walking toward another personal goal. With these two things always keeping me occupied, I find all my resolutions staggering with the pressure.
I still believe everyone should make time for things he/she wants to do, no matter HOW busy he/she is.
So here I put forth things that I am struggling with, yet again, so I can keep track of my progress and also remember them and be accountable for them. It did help me last year when I felt life was getting out of control. Hope it helps this time too.
First of all,
Dont stress - Breathe in, breathe out.
Dont bring work home - Unless it is really reallly necessary Find time to do the extra activities. Continue working out 5 times a week. Continue eating healthy food. Dont eat to drive away stress! Dont worry about things you have no control over. Remember the one God above you, he always wants to help you. Dont panic in times of distress. REMEMBER to stay calm.
Remember Life is beautiful! Only one life to live! Make the fullest of it! |
