Little BSK is! Though I am supposed to be catching up with work now, I want to stop and capture BSK's growth because she sure is growing up fast and furious!
I dont even remember where I stopped last. So I will just start with how she amazes me everyday.
Most recently madame has started eating on her own!Put a bowl of yogurt in front of her and she would adeptly pick a spoonful and carefully take it to her mouth. Her mouth would be wide open many seconds before the spoon actually reaches the mouth. Cutest sight. Looks like she is going to be a leftie like Mommy.
Latest laugh at the house was for BSK dancing to 'who let the dogs out', in her diapers. She was too excited to wear her night suit and danced away to glory.
BSK can give a hug and give umma and say 'I ov u' when she is in the mood. Else she will say no. Then you have to make a crying face. Then she will feel sorry for you and give umma.
BSK has read all her books cover to cover. She knows all her animals, lion (yayan) being her favorite, tiger (titer), elephant (mpant), monkey (patti, dont know why she calls it so! ), owl, bear, sheep, dog, cat, frog, fish, hippo (appu), sea lion, wolf . Cannot remember more.
BSK can sing inga inga oches (ringa ringa roses), can sing Twinkle twinkle little star ( how iwonda, ike adima), shakkalakka baby (courtesy me :--P) Can ape any sound, la la la la la, nu nu nu nu nu nu, tu tu tu tu tu,etc. Can sing happy birthday (bachi bachi, dont even ask! )
She likes to eat pata (pasta). Love food in general. I have to hide food from her. But her paruppu sadham she eats ok ok only, except when she is really hungry. If she doesnt want something she is will go 'na paal' 'na seep' (no sleep), na anything.
She loves wearing shoes, because she knows that means going out! Madame is very selective about what shoes to wear, and what clothes to wear too. Sunday had a tough time to get her to wear her skirt, she wanted to go off in her baby legs and onsie and socks and shoe.
She is seriously attached to her puppy and teddy. She has numeroud teddys and puppys and likes to carry them around, brush their teeth, feed them mumum, give them umma, hug them, drag them all over the house.
Her mazhalai is tooooo cute.
But of course, she is a tantrum queen too. Very impatient, stubborn, wanting constant attention. Testing my patience after a long day at work. Like today in high hopes of trying to get her to sleep at 8, due to time change, she was already accustomed to time change looks like didnt sleep until usual 9:30. Sigh! Tears in her eyes breaks my heart.
She has lovely dark curls, unmanageable but gets everyone's attention. One Chinese lady at church said she has hair just like mommy :--P errr like mommy some 20 year ago I guess, now I am almost bald. Grass is always greener on the other side! There I was not minutes ago looking at straight as arrow chinese kids' hair wishing BSK's wasnt so unruly!
BSK got her first promo already :--P from infant to toddler section. Now madame has to attend class where they teach A B C D. Before leaving the day care madame would give hi fi to all her friends. Apparently she is pulling other kids' hair :--P Ok she will survive I think. If she doesnt know the answer to a question she is the queen of mazhuppifying.
What else?
Been waking up really late in the mornings. Thanks to time change hoping to get back on track, getting to work on time.
Talked to cousins in India after ages. Missing India a lot. Missing family too. Hope I feel better tomorrow!

Agree with you - we always prefer wavy when straight and straight when wavy. But still, curls looks adorable on little girls!
She is quite a talker isn't she?
