| As I mentioned A and S have moved closer and we cannot be happier. We should have moved closer to them, as we have visited them all three days of this past weekend. Friday we decided to have dinner together and went for ice cream to their place. Saturday we dropped JSK in the afternoon to go watch Kabali, as we heard it was too bloody to take kids. Sunday was their son's birthday, A had made beautiful decorations and food in her house with few guests. They live 20minutes from us. On Monday under the pretext of dropping left over cake they came home, and Monday felt like Friday ;--) I was in super cleaner mode because house was full of boxes. Somehow I made it presentable in an hour, very proud of myself. If they will drop impromptu like this they have to get used to my bland weekly cooking. They seemed to be okay with it. I made spinach kootu and capsicum curry which we are with dosas and rotis. It felt nice to have guests during the week that too on Monday! ;--)

Dotter needs to improve on a lot of things and trust me I have no idea how to fix some things. Some traits are in the blood. Today she came home and said she was sad in the park because everyone was mean to her. I have to take what she says with a grain of salt because if DH doesn't give her what she asks for she tells me Appa is being mean. Looks like today one kid punched her in the stomach and took her spot in the line. She told the teacher and teacher asked him to say sorry and he did. Another boy stepped on her shoes wantedly and she tripped and fell. She couldn't tell the teacher because they were walking on the streets. DH and I told her to not let anyone be mean to her. And if they were she should tell the teacher and then us.
Sending her to kindergarten public school is scary. She has to fend for herself I suppose. She has a good rapport with her teachers which is good. And she probably complains to teachers about other kids a bit too much. I do want her to know there are such kids out there and how to handle them without being one of them. Tomorrow she is going on a field trip to the local zoo and I am so excited for her. My biggest concern this year is for dotter to settle down in her new school.
Dotter seems to love art and drawing and painting, she does it in all her free play time. I see other kids playing ball or chess, and I see her painting. I have to put her in art class before she loses interest.

Kabali was ... Alright. It was super nice to see Rajini in old style. But the movie had lot of loop holes.
We also watched Amma kanakku. I could totally see myself butting heads with dotter when she is 15. God help me!
Thus ends Tuesday of Week2.
