| Long weekend |

 It was an exciting long weekend. The best partof it was on Saturday afternoon. We, or it should be I, picked up all my courage, while DH and bro were all for it, went jet-skiiing. It was awesome. After our rafting trip, we were in a mood to go on more adventurous trips.
Even though DH was riding it, it was fun and exciting to hold on to him from behind and zoom amidst the waters leaving surf behind. I was more often than once worried about falling into the waters, which is not very atypical of me, but the hour went by with no mishaps. Bro does not know swimming, which made me anxious, but him and DH seemed to do just fine in the waters.
So will I do it again? Most certainly! Hopefully soon! And next time I will drive. The first time I was too scared to take control of the vehicle. I am slow in these kinda things, but I think it is better to be cautious and be prepared than have a mishap and never have the guts to do these ever!
DH would ride in a straight line, and stop abruptly, and then turn whichever direction, idling by and then zoom in a straight line. We never tried to turn while giving the gas, because our rafting friend and others had an incident where in the jet ski cap sized and all of them were in the water for a long time. This had happened because our friend was trying to make a swooping turn in the waters, like you do with the bikes and splash went all into the water.
But it is lot of fun. And I really want to do it again. And we will learn to take turns without falling off. Well, its not that we are afraid of the water, it is just such a waster of time, trying to get on to the jet ski after falling down, all wet, and then you lose precious jet-skiing time too! Yeah right, thats why I dont want to fall off! ;--) |

Did you see any UCD boats when you went rafting :-)? Sorry, your post brought back all memories of the awesome fun I had on that rafting trip :-)!
