I am feeling better now. Dont want too much sadness in this blog. A friend I know said, be happy you  have a beautiful life and it is your duty to live it happily. So I will.

More notes on BSK because it is a slow week at work and it is Friday and next week is going to be crazy.

Two days ago out of the blue, BSK said "Hey man!" I was surprised. Then she said "Appy buday to ya" My eyes popped open. Where is she learning this stuff? Obviously day care I know.
The same day I asked her "BSK enna saapadra" Usually she says "bu beeii" or "cheej" which is what her evening snack is. But she surprised me by saying "bubeii saapda" ! How does she know?!
She tries to say cantaloupe which is a cute "cannaloua".
She can pray, it is DH's training in the morning. She tries to say "chaami thatha paati nalla irukkanum, naan good girla irukkanum, thank you saami"
She likes to imiate any thing and everything. And when happy she will go "la la la la la" in a sing song voice. She also says "Amma/appa/her name/ friends name laali laali laali" not sure where she learnt that from. Dh plays ball with her, she can kick very well and enjoys the game. She knows shapes, circle, triangle, square, heart.

She can eat on her own! Rather insists she eats on her own all the time. So her feeding time, we keep a bowl and spoon in front of her. I put two scoops at a time so she will not make a huge mess. And as she finishes I put more food. While eating she is such a kind hearted soul she will make sure DH and I also have a bite of what she eats.

DH has taught her to clean up using the broom, so she would do that too. Once she started using the broom on DH, saying "appa clean" :--D

We started telling her poo poo and pee pee and whenever she goes she says  "poo poo change".  All the rhymes she sings along happily. Her 'no's have become cuter.

We have been trying to teach her colors but she just doesnt get it yet.

She is very adamant and stubborn. She can almost reach top of counters, tables and cooking range.

She has started learning 11, 12, 13 and so on too. She seems to be quick in catching and learning words it is totally amazing.

She understands "pudhu dress" she wore many over the holidays. She would just go to the mirror and look at herself!

When she is very happy she would run between me and DH. Come to me hug me, run over to DH hug him and repeat like a broken record hundred times.

One thing that bugs me is my hair is her security object now, she wants to pull at it all the time. At any time during the week I am afraid  my little hair would just be out before she is out of her habit! She is going through yet another regression I guess, has not been sleeping well. I dont know how to get her out of the habit. I have been telling her, 'only touch' and just smooth my hair with her hand. She understands. Everytime she brings her fingers to my hair she herself says 'only touch' but still ends up pulling. I think she is too attached to my hair now and gets upset if I dont let her pull. Ppsst she just got a girl doll with lot of hair as a xmas present from a friend. I may let her pull the doll's hair to give me some respite!
