Ramblings Only

- Boss said my job is not affected. Got to feel happy for now. 

- I had 11-1 free, met with my first big boss who hired me. He gave me a hug. It was so nice to see him and some other folks. I don't go to that building often and today when I did, especially during lunch time bumped into quite a few old friends. Nostalgia nostalgia. This boss was in an all day meeting, he got 30mins break which he decided to spend with me. He is an amazing people's person. 

- met with someone who was supposed to interview me for an internal job transfer. Just keeping my options open. He asked only one question. I asked a lot of questions. I also forwarded the same job to a few friends who have lost their jobs. Hmm. Am I a bad person for fighting for a job they could get? 

- dotter and I went and got cupcakes to share at the school tomorrow. Birthday is very different with her this time. Mainly because she sees so many other kids celebrate. She wants me to come to the school. She has specific requirements on what should be done for her birthday. Pah! All kids have pizza parties. I decided to only do cupcakes last minute. And I had to convince Madame why!

- spent sometime looking at pictures of JSK with JSK. She didn't believe some of the pictures were her. Nostalgia central. Picked up pictures of her from the last five years, she was so cute! Now she is a typical skinny kindergartener all babyness officially gone. She picked up Naked 3 Urban Decay? Lying in the drawer somewhere and wanted to use it. :--P gosh I want DH to move out of Sephora before she is 10, because man, I can see her totally loving make up and all things girly. She wanted to put make up 'every other Friday'. I told her make up is for people who are not cute ;--P she is already cute so she doesn't need make up. I asked her ' does mommy wear make up?' 'No' ' is mommy cute?' 'Yes' ( thank god she still thinks that ;--P) 'that's why mommy doesn't wear make up' ;--P
