| - hola from home sweet home! Tight hug to JSK, missed her so much. There are some things 5 year olds play with which are cuteness overload. You don't realize them when they are with you all the time. Meet them after a week and the cuteness quotient goes through the roof. For example, I was showering and JSK couldn't wait for me to come out. So we spent time talking with her outside. 'Do you see my fingers Amma?' ' do you see my feet Amma, from under the door?' ' do you see my yellow tshirt amma' Lastly, ' do you see my fingers and feet and my tshirt amma, I am sitting on the floor by the door!' Was a total awwww moment for me.
- some stuff I ordered for daughters birthday is here. They are okay, for a quick order with minimal research. I still need to get candles and knife and centerpieces and some favors for little sibling kids. JSK is going to be 5 in 5 days!! Time flies! I will have to do a separate post on my soon to be 5 year old.
- my happiest moment today is easily the time we spent at a friend's place where JSK played dumb charades like game with us. She didn't talk a single word for the first three hours. And the last two hours she was in full form, talking,laughing, rolling on the floor, making snow angels and pretending to be pizza, hot dog, lollipop and what not. That is how much time she needs to warm up. happy to eat yummy lunch at friends place, parents visiting from India means good home cooked food.
- dotter had picture day at her ballet/tap class. She dressed up, put on teeny bit of make up, which really excited her and went for the session. First shy, soon she was comfortable with the photographer and smiled for the pictures. Leaving her alone to do these things, I still have my own doubts if she will cooperate or not. Thankfully it all worked out well!
- uneventful flight, out of SF airport 20mins after getting out of the flight! Got to make me happy! When did flying international become such a piece of cake? I don't mind doing this once a few months ;--P
