| Too much icecream was had this weekend. Friday evening we wanted to go to Cream after dinner. I had very berry strawberry yummy icecream. A lady cut in front of DH and when he kinda glared at her because he had been waiting for long, seeing two orders in his hand she said she would pay for his order. DH pounced on the opportunity and asked the cashier to include the four other orders we had made and taken upstairs to eat too! :--D Too much attitude around but we got our free icecream!
Saturday long time friends visited and it seemed to get some icecream for dessert. Sunday was Kindergarten new families icecream social at the school. More icecream!
School starts Tuesday and for some reason I don't feel ready. Why do I have to be ready? After school is fixed. She has a backpack. I got a new lunch bag and water bottle. That's it right? School supplies are supposed to be taken care of by the PTA, bless them.
I sneaked a look into a kinder classroom, it looked so cute and spacious! I am hearing good things about the teachers. I looked out for kindergarten parents especially her room and found a few. There are a few kids who don't talk a word of English, it will be interesting to see how much they pick up. Incidentally our landlord's last kid will be in dotter's class. People seemed nice, mostly new to the neighborhood, most plan to walk, scooter, bike to the school, which is awesome. We are a mile out so walking may not be possible. Hope to settle in to the new rhythm and schedule soon and get on with life.
It has been a month since we ate in Saravana Bhavan, no withdrawal symptoms yet.
Need to document - dotter finished her first big chapter book this weekend. 117pages.
