Liked this one. Relaxing over the weekend does bring a better perspective on things.
JSK had a play date on Friday and it was terribly cute to watch the girls. Generally running around, coloring, playing with dolls, destroying flower in the back yard ;--S. Her best friend in school came over. She is a very cute little girl. All girls are super cute at this age. I like this age the best. No complains.
Saturday saw us driving to Sonoma to a winery for a birthday. Weather was amazing. Enjoyed driving. Charged Mia at Petaluma SC while doing groceries at nearby Sprouts. We went to Ghirardelli in SF to meet a long time blog friend. It is strange, we have never met but have known each other for about 10 years! It didn't feel like we haven't met all!
Sunday morning at church, one Aunty said Mom and daughter looked very nice. I wore a simple black dress. Felt good ;--p. JSK looks cute in whatever she wears be in dresses or shorts. Often times I keep admiring her, watching her!
We had our mother's club board meeting in an Asian restaurant. Good food, good company, good talk. Came home and caught up on sleep. Cooked while JSK when swimming. Then we dropped her at a friends place for another play date and both DH and I hit the gym. After a long time went together. It was nice.
As I have said before I get dosa cravings if I miss SB even for one weekend. So hit SB for Sunday dinner! Was good after gym.
Life is good. There are a few nagging things in my head but nothing that a relaxing weekend cannot fix.
This is my life. Weekend after weekend. Like Bay Area, the great weather, the places we can visit, enjoying nature, and the City, and the people - smart and sensible, fitness freaks, creme de la creme if I may say so.
July 11th marks my 10 years at work. Also 10years in California. 10 years!!! Not sure if this is good or bad.
