| I wanted to write about some of the things I don't quite 'like' about my trip here.
- Smell. Some folks smell very bad. Like old stuff I guess, not sure. Not sure if they shower everyday and I wonder if we should teach them about hygiene and cleanliness. - The bathrooms or toilets smell super bad. It is a big deal to find a non smelling bathroom. And the ones we visit are supposed to be good ones too, so one can imagine the kind of places locals might use. One of our gang has decided not to drink water during the entire day that we are out in the school because she doesn't want to use the restroom. - I don't like my shower, it might as well not have any force whatsoever. It drops water. I don't feel like I had a shower after. One friend said she tried making a bath and the bath was dirty which means the water coming in might as well be dirty. - food also has a weird smell. Today my lunch was a veggie roll in aluminum foil and the foil smelled bad. If I smell it I am not able to eat it after even though everyone thinks the food is perfectly good. The buffet food meat also seems to have some smell that totally throws my hunger off. I guess it is good in a way?
With that out of the way, today I almost had tears in my eyes in the middle of taking a class. An old teacher learning To write documents, I was very patient but a part of me was getting impatient. Last week I thought I could teach, but this week I don't think it is for me.
I do so miss my laddu and my husband. Very very much. I want to go home. Soooooon. Everything seems so far away, but it is a cushy life. I miss my Mia. I want to post a pic of Mia just like that.
