- my heart melted today when I went to drop JSK at her class. Teachers had asked Moms to drop the kids today. JSK brought me a gift bag, on it was a cute little poem with her hand print. Inside the bag was a cute little apron that read Best Mom and a number of drawings and paintings by JSK. I got a hint it was an apron from Madame herself. ' it is an apron with two rainbows but I won't tell you what is written on it'When I read the poem as I headed out of the school, My eyes welled up, and for a brief minute my heart wanted to drop everything and stay at home with her be for her and watch her everyday.
- first waking moment of the morning started off with a thought. ' I have not booked a cab in Taipei!' I couldn't be more unprepared for the trip tomorrow. Thankfully met a friend from there who was kind enough to give me some tips, reminding me some things I had forgotten from last time. We were hard pressed for time but we still managed some leisurely talk like night markets and shopping. Made my happy
- thankful for Saravana Bhavan!! And the friendly staff who let dotter borrow check book and pen to doodle and keep occupied
- thankful for DH who picked up dotter at last minute notice so I could finish my last minute work before next week.
- last but not the least happy for Friday! I cannot believe I like Vijay Sethupathi with his Thoppai and beard. It is the character I like in Ka ka ka Po. Super cute movie. Tales where girl and boy are from such vastly different backgrounds but somehow find something common to grow their relationship, is always appealing because it is close to my life. |
