All izz well in SKland.
No work at all this weekend. :--) And didnt feel guilty thats the good part.
Spent a lot of time meeting people and planning for my event. I am so excited! Although I am quite clueless about a whole bunch of things. Another opportunity to learn!
Missed quite a few other events, since I wanted to spend some time at home. I almost feel guilty for missing a brunch meeting and an organic farm visit on Sunday.
Cooked loads and loads, although had to eat out a lot because of having to meet sponsors. Can never say no to free food :--D
Watched Peepli Live after a yummy dinner at Dosa Hut. I didnt find funny whatever others were laughing at. I felt sad at so many points during the movie. We thought it was a bold movie. Having been part of AID, I am able to realize the magnitude of truth in the situation. It was bold of the director to show such harsh realities. And last but not the least, the movie reminded me of our village, where I used to go for vacation. Farms, hens, goats, hens, memories.
When I feel sad about things not going well in my life, I think about so many others who are in much worse position than I am, and I feel grateful for all I have and not so sorry for myself. I think of where I could have been, and where I actually am, I am glad.
So, all izz well in SKland. |
